Blue, a unique colour for a cap
When you think of a blue cap, do you immediately think of a traditional skipper's cap? It's true, most skippers' caps used to be blue. But by now, these fishermen's caps are also available in many other colours. And blue caps now also exist in many other types of caps. You will therefore notice a very large range of blue caps at Hatland.
Why choose a cap in blue?
Blue, on the one hand, is a warm colour. Dark blue is very popular for caps for autumn/winter. Think of a flat cap in blue or a corduroy cap in blue. For summer, we then see more caps in light blue. Baseball caps and snapback caps are caps that are very popular in blue. Blue is a fresh colour that also goes very well with other colours. You wear a blue cap, for example, with basic colours such as white, grey or black. But also with striking colours such as brown, yellow, ochre, orange, red, green, gold... a blue cap does well. We see a slight trend that a light blue cap is slightly more popular with women than with men, and that a dark blue cap does slightly better with men than with women. We also see that blue caps are often worn by ladies as a contrast to their clothing. Men tend to wear blue caps ton-sur-ton, or in other words, on other shades of blue. Of course, this is not an exact science. Of course, you choose which blue cap for women and which blue cap for men you prefer.
A plain blue cap or a multi-coloured cap?
If you take a look at the flat caps in our blue caps, for example, you will notice that the peak, for example, is sometimes in a different colour. This combination gives the blue cap extra allure. In our multi-coloured caps, we offer a huge variety. Take a look at our speckled caps, for example, wool caps and flat caps. A cap in blue and white looks slightly different from a cap in blue and grey. It is just the same with our plaid caps. A plain blue cap for men looks completely different from a cap combining blocky blue and grey. Discover more of our blue caps for women and blue caps for men using different colours. For these, check out our striped and herringbone blue caps. Sometimes the blue is subtle, sometimes very striking. The choice is yours!
